Schedule for this week: Tuesday 2:30-3:30pm rehearsal Wednesday - no rehearsal Thursday - no rehearsal Friday - Senior Game report 6:00pm Senior parents - This will be our show to honor our senior band members. We would like to have you take part in this tribute. Please report to the sidelines gate in front of the band seats at halftime. Mr. Burke will escort you to the field, where you will then stand by your son/daughter call their name. |

The Marching Band placed 1st in class II of the USSBA Marching Competition at Herndon on Saturday , September 24. THis week, we look forward to competing at the Oakton classic Marching Band Competition at Oakton High School in Vienna, Va. Performance time is 3:00pm. Students are to report to Hayfield at 10:15am. Performance is at 3:00pm, and the awards are at 6pm.We will return at 7:45pm that evening. |

| September 15, 2005 :: TAG DAY #1 MAKES $6400 ! |

Congratulations to the band in their first tag day of the first year with the realigned Hayfield school boundary. Our goal is $8000, and with Tag Day #2 this weekend, we should make our goal easily. Island Creek and the 3rd part of Hayfield Farms will be our target, along with some new subdivisions that opened up in the past year. Thanks to the Mrs. Erin Fitzsimmons and Mrs.Melissa Hartman for all their planning and hard work both Tag Days. Thanks to Dottie Andrews for the uniforms as well. Saturday, Sept. 17, students report by 9am, and we should be done just before 2pm. First Home game Friday Sept. 16th. Students report at 6pm with black shoes, black socks, t-shirt and shorts. Don't forget some refreshment money. Next week's schedule: due to high school back to school night being on Wednesday night, our schedule will be Tuesday Night, September 20 - 6-8pm Wednesday , September 21 - 2:30-4:40pm Thursday, September 22 - 2:30-4:30pm |
