marching band performed this past Saturday at the Virginia Band & Orchestra Directors Association’s annual Marching
band festival in Haymarket.
The
marching band performed for 5 adjudicators, and received the highest award for a “superior” performance.
This
caps a great season of marching with competition trophies, accolades of great sound & motion and a superior rating from
the virginia’s highest school music authority.

Marching Band was a big winner last Saturday at the USSBA Marching Band Competiton at Herndon
High School last Saturday, September 29th. The band won "Best Guard"

visual overall, and 1st place in the AA Open division.

Thursday, August 23, 2007 the marching band
is invited to swim at the Hayfield Farms pool, from 5-8pm. We will provide pizza and sodas.
We ask that each student bring $2.00 for the pizza, and also bring a dessert
to share. Please pick up your child on Thursday night at the pool at 8pm. The pool is at the end of Hayfield Road,
in the Hayfield Farms subdivision.
On Friday, August 24, 2007, the Marching band will be holding our annual “exhibition
and pot luck supper” to be held here at the school at 6pm. The Marching band will perform the 2007 marching show, then
have everyone move into the middle school cafeteria for a pot luck supper. We ask that you bring a dish to share. The boosters
will provide sodas and paper products and utensils.
