symphonic band plays superiod performance

Success in Orlando!!

Both Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble earned superior ratings from all three adjudicators. The performances earned them top ratings, which translated into placements in the competition portion of the festival. Hayfield Symphonic band took 2nd place (silver) in division 3 and the Wind Ensemble took 2nd place (silver) in dvision 4 concert bands. Hayfield bands took second place in overall  "best band" in the competition.  We are extremely proud of our bands performance.

We are thankful for the great work of our chaperones acting  as our surrogate moms and dads on the trip. We are delighted to have Mr. Tremaine on the trip as well, attending the concerts and talking with the students wherever he saw them.

We are also proud of the band students on the trip. Meeting deadlines, working together and  being positive mature adults was the best part of the trip, and for that, the directors are truly thankful.

If you have a minute, we would welcome and comments, suggestions, funny stories or great ideas about this trip or future trips. Just send mr. burke an email.
